I will be performing in two plays at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that could not be more different.

Following a sell out run at the Brighton Fringe, THE WILD MAN OF ORFORD will be transferring to Sweet Venues from the 10th-23rd August at 12:45pm at Sweet Grassmarket International 4.

Featuring an exciting combination of handmade puppets, live theatre and music and sand, glass and shadow animations THE WILD MAN OF ORFORD tells the tale of a merman who is discovered off the Suffolk coast in 1167. Is this scaly, glistening creature from the depths of the sea a man or monster? Is the wild man barbaric or simply free of the constraints of society? A story of freedom, kindness and the strange wild song of the sea.

I will also be reprising my role of L in Trees Grow High as part of TURNING LEAVES.

An unorthodox crush ripens into all-consuming sexual obsession. But W is 15 and L is his Classics teacher. It’s against the law. It’s against everything L has been taught to uphold. Is it against nature? Trees Grow High is a response to recent controversies in the news about teacher/pupil relationships and the way the media treats female perpetrators of sex crimes, exploring the abuse of trust and real love versus power and control.

TURNING LEAVES comprises of three powerful and stark solo performances exploring social perception and analysis of crime and risk.  The play runs from the 10th-16th August at 10pm at Sweet Grassmarket International 3 (Venue 18).
